A Connecticut native, Ms. Berrent has lived in the Boston area
since 1995.

Berrent has been in the jewelry business for over 25 years.
A
Graduate Gemologist, Ms. Berrent took courses in diamonds,
diamond grading, color stones, color stone grading, pearls,
restringing, and appraisals from the Gemological Institute of
America (GIA) in California. Additionally, Ms. Berrent is
constantly learning about advanced diamond grading and colored
stone grading in ongoing education courses.
Over the past 25 years, she has worked in every
facet of the jewelry field, including:
- A buyer of
diamonds, colored stones, pearls, and gold jewelry
- Planning and
implementing merchandise presentations for national chain
accounts
- Developing
training seminars in diamond and pearl jewelry
- Supervising
goldsmiths and other staff
